Modular Stackable Cable Clamp for 10-22mm Cable, Set A | MSMC 10-22

Clamping cable, conduit and pipe from 10 to 22 mm, the MSMC 10-22 is the smallest clamp in the icotek MSMC range and the one that suits most control, instrumentation and small-power runs leaving a switchboard gland plate. Set A includes the two long hexagon head screws, so clamps can be stacked in height as well as lined up in a row.

Construction:

The clamp is built from an upper and a lower half shell closed with hexagon head screws. Longitudinal and transverse ridges in the support surface absorb tensile and torsional forces, and assembly with two through bolts gives an anti-rotation lock. The clamped diameter can vary by up to 16 mm across the range, and the half shells suit the large bending radii of rigid cable.

Mounting:

A central slotted hole allows direct mounting to a plate, gland plate or base, with the option of two long screws for greater stability and torsional resistance. Fitting an SCMC sliding nut allows mounting on C-rail instead. Markings on the half shells show the orientation – short marking bottom and top for mounting in line, short bottom with long top for mounting in height. Tighten the screw connection to 3 Nm when clamping cable.

Lining Up and Stacking:

Clamps are joined horizontally with a CMC coupler, and Set A adds two long hexagon head screws so the top section can be rotated 180° and clamps stacked vertically. Different clamping ranges can be connected to one another using the CMC 30 coupler. The coupler also works as a mounting aid for overhead installation.

What's Included: One cable clamp (upper and lower part), one coupler, two short hexagon head screws and two long hexagon head screws. Sold as a single clamp set; icotek supplies the MSMC range in packs of five.
