The Weidmüller 2820090000 is a protective cap designed for use with Weidmüller IP68 male plug connectors. When the connector is not in use, the cap seals the male plug to preserve the IP68 ingress protection rating, preventing ingress of water, dust, and contaminants in outdoor, industrial, and harsh environment installations. Supplied as an accessory to complement the Weidmüller IP68 inline and panel-mount cable connector range.
