Weidmüller IE-MC-VL-1TX-1SCS is a DIN-rail media converter that links a 10/100BaseT(X) copper segment to a 100BaseFX singlemode fibre run terminated in an SC connector, over distances of up to 40 km. It is the long-haul counterpart to the multimode IE-MC-VL-1TX-1SC and is intended for site-to-site links between buildings, substations or pump stations where copper cannot reach.
