The Weidmüller VSSC4 RC 240VAC/DC is a feed-through terminal combining a sparkover gap with an RC interference suppressor, rated 240 V AC / 339 V DC at 20 A. It is used to damp the switching transients thrown off by inductive loads such as solenoid valves, contactor coils and small motors, at the terminal rail rather than at the device.
