The Weidmüller VPU AC II 1 300V/50KA is a single-pole surge arrester for TN systems, mounted on TS 35 rail in a distribution or sub-distribution board. It is the base variant without a remote signalling contact, chosen where only one live conductor needs protecting and the arrester's status window can be checked on inspection.
