Smartlock - IP68 DUC Sealed Chamber - 17RU
The Smartlock DUC Sealed Chamber (DUC-101-0000-00) is a pre-assembled, high-security fibre distribution enclosure designed for underground installations. Its robust engineering ensures a dry and pressurised environment, safeguarding fibre distribution frames from external elements.
The chamber features a Smartkey-controlled mechatronic locking system, providing controlled access. An NB-IoT sensor monitors critical environmental factors, including temperature, humidity, vibration, and light, triggering alarms when thresholds are exceeded. The IP68-rated ingress protection, achieved through its dual-lid design, prevents water and dust infiltration.
With a 17U extractable rack, the chamber facilitates structured fibre management, accommodating fibre slack storage and transportation tubes. Constructed from UV-stabilised glass-reinforced polyester (GRP) with a 30% glass fibre content, it meets SANS 558 Heavy Duty and EN124 Class B125 standards, making it suitable for long-term deployment in fibre optic networks.
