At 165 × 201 × 120mm with capacity for 6 DIN-rail modules, this MCE65 modular component enclosure houses MCBs, RCDs, terminals and control gear for sub-distribution boards, machine control and individual circuit protection in indoor and outdoor environments where a sealed, fully insulated assembly is required. Moulded thermoplastic construction rated IP65 and IK08.
Features and Specifications
Protection: IP65 (EN 60529), IK08 (EN 62262). Class II totally insulated, halogen-free.
Standards (& Conformities): IEC/EN 62208, EN 60529, EN 62262, UL 94 HB flammability, glow-wire 650°C (IEC 60695).
Construction
The base and frame are injection-moulded from acrylonitrile styrene acrylate (ASA) in RAL 7035 grey and fitted with a smoked-grey cover and a foamed polyurethane perimeter gasket that maintains the IP65 seal across a −25°C to +60°C operating range. The fully insulated body removes the need to earth the enclosure itself, and the smoked cover allows at-a-glance inspection of the installed devices.
Configuration
Supplied with a pre-fitted DIN rail, insulated neutral and earth terminals, blanking covers for unused module windows, installation accessories and screw caps. Cable entries on multiple faces and side flange openings allow units to be ganged together to build larger assemblies.
