The Weidmüller maxGUARD AMG ELM-10D CO is the 10 A member of the relay-switched maxGUARD load monitoring family, where the D suffix denotes two-pole output switching so both load poles are disconnected on trip rather than the positive leg alone. The CO suffix denotes a conformal-coated circuit board, which is what qualifies the module for the extended maxGUARD range used in shipbuilding and hazardous-area applications. Rated current is adjustable and the higher 20,000 µF capacitive load rating suits it to larger DC loads and switched-mode devices with substantial inrush.
